really wants to see this school used by the people in that <br />community. <br />Leonard Edwards of the EOC felt the lease agreement as it <br />now stands is satisfactory to all parties involved. The Wabasso <br />Civic Progressive League has informed them that they will have <br />use of the cafeteria. The EOC has no use of the building other <br />than possibly for staff meetings with the total agency and <br />graduation programs. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked Mr. Edwards if he was aware that <br />in order for the cafeteria to be utilized, it must have <br />extensive repairs and water and sewer. <br />Mr. Edwards explained that his proposal is to do the entire <br />renovation at one time, and, if Wabasso has the funds available, <br />they could utilize their funds or volunteer ours. <br />Administrator Wright suggested that we put any agreements or <br />sub -agreements in writing so that there can be no <br />misunderstanding about who is going to do what and when; <br />otherwise he could see us right back in the middle of an <br />argument. <br />Commissioner Lyons agreed. <br />Commissioner Bird asked their intentions about the water and <br />sewer, and Mr. Edwards explained that at present they would like <br />to drill another well, if necessary, and perhaps go to a septic - <br />tank deal because they are only going to have 45 children during <br />the day. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if when they do this work, it will <br />be with the understanding that they are going to tie the <br />cafeteria to it, and Mr. Edwards agreed. He noted that the <br />League would not be using the facility on a daily basis -- they <br />may use it once a month for a meeting and hold a function there <br />possibly every quarter. <br />Commissioner Lyons pointed out that the utilities have to be <br />connected some where, and Mr. Edwards advised that they would all <br />be under one system and the Wabasso League can just give a <br />43 <br />BQQK 63 FAGE 176 <br />JAN � i9�6 _ <br />
