ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Ordinance 86-6 establishing the <br />boundaries of the 100 acre Lindsey Road <br />Industrial Node. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86 -6 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION- <br />ERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISH- <br />ING BOUNDARIES FOR THE 100 ACRE INDUSTRIAL NODE <br />LOCATED IN THE GIFFORD AREA WEST OF U.S. <br />HIGHWAY #1 TO LATERAL H, AND SOUTH OF THE NORTH <br />RELIEF CANAL TO LINDSEY ROAD, AS GENERALLY <br />DESCRIBED IN THE TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br />AND DEPICTED ON THE LAND USE MAP OF THE LAND <br />USE ELEMENT OF THE COUNTY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE BOUNDARY MAP, DESCRIPTION OF <br />THE NODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners. of Indian <br />River County, Florida have amended the County's Comprehensive <br />Plan to provide for establishing boundaries for every commer- <br />cial, commercial/industrial, industrial, tourist/commercial, _ <br />and hospital/commercial node; and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has held a <br />public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation to <br />establish boundaries for this node; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a <br />public hearing on these proposed boundaries at which parties <br />in interest and citizens had an opportunity to be heard; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is empowered <br />to adopt these boundaries to assist in the implementation of <br />25 <br />Roa 63 F,,— . 90N6 <br />
