<br />IMPROVEMENTS ORDINANCE '
<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County proposes to adopt a Fair Share Roadway Improvements
<br />Ordinance to be applied to all land within the area shown in the map in this advertisement.
<br />A public hearing on the proposed ordinance will be held on Wednesday, January 22,1See, at 5:15 p.m., In the County
<br />Commission Chambers in the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida.
<br />The purpose of this public hearing Is to consider the adoption of a County Ordinance establishing a Fair Share
<br />Roadway Improvements fee for all new land development activity generating traffic including development In the
<br />unincorporated part of the County and development within municipalities. The ordinance is entitled:
<br />AN ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FAIR SHARE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
<br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SHORT TITLE, AUTHORITY AND APPLICABILITY, PROVIDING FOR INTENT AND
<br />PURPOSE; PROVIDING RULES OF CONSTRUCTION; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE
<br />IMPOSITION OF A FAIR SHARE ROAD -WAY IMPROVEMENTS FEE ON ALL NEW LAND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY
<br />GENERATING TRAFFIC: PROVIDING FOR TIME OF PAYMENT; PROVIDING FOR INTERPRETATION OF THE FEE
<br />SCHEDULE: PROVIDING FOR CREDITS: PROVIDING FOR REVIEW OF THE ORDINANCE AND FEE SCHEDULE;
<br />PROVIDING FOR USE OF FUNDS COLLECTED AND TRUST FUNDS: PROVIDING FOR EXEMPTIONS; PROVIDING

<br />Chairman Scurlock announced that although Michael Brown and
<br />Craig Richardson of Barton-Aschmann were delayed by a traffic
<br />accident out on SR -60, we would begin the meeting as he believed
<br />he and Public Works Director Jim Davis could answer most of the
<br />questions, and then the consultants will answer any others when
<br />they arrive.
