Attorney Vitunac agreed and also noted that there is some <br />dispute re the actual value of this property; possibly it is <br />worth more than $2,500 and closer to $5,000. <br />Director Davis stated that the appraisal was based on <br />current market sales in the area, and he felt the controversy <br />lies as to what comparables you look at. <br />Commissioner Bird advised that the land owners may argue the <br />land is worth more to them than the actual land cost and also <br />because of the possibility they could lose a lot in their <br />subdivision planning.
