He advised that he told Public <br />Works Director to proceed to have the light put in. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or correc- <br />tions to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of January 22, 1986. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Minutes of the Special Meeting <br />of January 22, 1986, as written. <br />DISCUSSION RE FELLSMERE ANIMAL CONTROL AND ROAD PAVING <br />Chairman Scurlock expressed his appreciation of the improve- <br />ment in our communications with the City of Fellsmere. He <br />informed the Board that Mayor Turner has requested that we <br />provide them some assistance with animal control, and Administra- <br />tor Wright has agreed that we can assist them over a short period <br />of time and try to clean up the area. The Fellsmere law <br />enforcement people will be the prime agencies, and Chairman <br />Scurlock believed the idea is to go in for about a two week <br />period to send a message to the community that violations of the <br />animal control ordinance will no longer be tolerated; then we <br />would probably continue to address this on a periodic basis. <br />3 <br />FEB 12 1986 804 63 571 <br />
