Scurlock, Jr.kYhairman <br />Commissioner Bowman stressed that she wanted to see the <br />mining ordinance rewritten as she believed it is totally <br />unacceptable in this day and age. She further felt we have to <br />visit the factors of sea level and salt water intrusion. <br />Director Keating noted that staff realizes it is inadequate. <br />Administrator Wright stated that if the Board wishes to open <br />up the matter of the mining ordinance, which is a highly contro- <br />versial issue, staff would like to have specific instructions <br />from the Board. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously directed <br />staff to readdress the Mining Ordinance. <br />WATER SERVICE TO COMMERCIAL PROPERTY - 17TH STREET <br />Administrator Wright reviewed the following letter and memo: <br />19 <br />FEB2 6.1986 BOOK 63 FacE 7.32 <br />
