rp- <br />[BAR 12 1986, <br />BOOK 6.3 P,. -U 831 <br />AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into and effective this 12th day <br />of March , 1986, by and between David C. Nolte, as <br />Indian River County Property Appraiser, herein referred to as <br />"Property Appraiser"; Gene E. Morris, as Indian River County Tax <br />Collector, here referred to as "Tax Collector"; Freda Wright, as . <br />Indian River County Clerk of the Circuit Court, herein referred <br />to as "Clerk"; R.T. "Tim" Dobeck, as Indian River County Sheriff, <br />herein referred to as "Sheriff"; Ann Robinson, as Indian River <br />County Supervisor of Elections, herein referred as "Supervisor"; <br />and the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />herein referred to as "Board", and their successors in office. <br />WHEREAS, all of the parties are constitutional officials who <br />provide separate services and duties to the citizens of Indian <br />River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the various officers have purchased and operate <br />computer systems in order to provide for efficient and prompt <br />production of data; and <br />WHEREAS, various officers contemplate the purchase of new <br />computer systems and/or upgrading of existing systems; and <br />WHEREAS, each office has the separate duty and obligation to <br />perform without hindrance or delay by any other office; and <br />WHEREAS, there is information and data generated and <br />maintained by separate offices which could benefit other offices <br />if available in a -coordinated computer system; and <br />WHEREAS, all the parties agree it is in the best interest to <br />the operation of their respective offices and Board, for a <br />committee to be formed which will control the adoption and <br />utilization of a centrally operated system, which system could <br />.decrease the cost of the computer services to all offices; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and <br />agreements contained herein and other valuable consideration, it <br />is agreed as follows: <br />48 <br />
