Prisoner Transport Contract <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/17/$6: <br />TO: The Board of County DATE: March 17, 1986 FILE: <br />Commissioners <br />SUBJECT: PRISONER TRANSPORT <br />CONTRACT <br />FROM:J ilson REFERENCES: <br />Ass' nt County Attorney <br />As you know, the Department of Detention and the Sheriff's office <br />have historically contracted with private agencies to transport <br />County prisoners to other institutions within the state and <br />otherwise. Prior to entering business arrangements with such <br />companies, it is necessary that a contract be executed in order <br />to establish the rights and liabilities of each party. <br />R & R Security, Inc. is a local company which recently began <br />providing a prisoner transport service. The Detention Center <br />staff would like to enter into a contract with R & R in order to <br />have a second transport company available to facilitate the <br />transfer of prisoners. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (3-0) <br />approved the following contract with R & R Security, <br />Inc. for prisoner transport service. <br />CONTRACT WILL BE PUT ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK WHEN <br />FULLY EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />J.
