SECTION 00948 - Work Change Directive <br />No. 1 <br />DATE OF ISSUANCE: 10/21/2014 <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: 10/21/2014 <br />OWNER: Indian River County <br />CONTRACTOR: Dickerson Florida, Inc. <br />Bid No: 2014046 <br />Project: 13th Street S.W. at 58th Avenue Bridge <br />OWNER's Contract No. 2014046 <br />ENGINEER: Indian River County <br />ENGINEER's Contract No. 0530-B <br />You are directed to proceed promptly with the following changes: <br />Description: <br />Delete a small portion of guardrail and end anchorage assembly northeast of the proposed bridge near <br />Station 51+50 as shown of the plans, Sheets 9 & 10 revised 8/6/14. <br />Suspend contract time during the utility relocations of the°Shoe Fly' after the Contractor completes <br />Gearing for FPL and ATT. The estimated suspension time is 15 to 30 days. <br />Purpose of Work Change Directive: <br />Delete the guardrail system northeast of the access driveway at Station 51+50 on the north side of 13th <br />Street SW for better access. <br />Suspend contract time to allow FPL and ATT to complete the utility relocations of the "Shoe Fly" after the <br />contractor completes clearing in the area of the bridge. <br />Attachments: <br />Plan Sheets 9 & 10 Revised 8/6/14 <br />If OWNER or CONTRACTOR believe that the above change has affected Contract Price any <br />Claim for a Change Order based thereon will involve one or more of the following methods as <br />defined in the Contract Documents. <br />Method of determining change in Method of determining change in <br />Contract Prices: Contract Times <br />X Unit Prices <br />II Lump Sum <br />Q Other. <br />II By Change Order. <br />Estimated increase in Contract Price: <br />If the change involves an increase, the estimated <br />amount is not to be exceeded without further <br />authorization. <br />Q Contractor's Records <br />Q Engineer's Records <br />X Other.
