Baird, County Administrator <br />From: Vincent Burke, P.E., Director of Utility Service <br />Prepared By: Cindy Corrente, Utilities Finance Manage <br />Subject: Update Regarding the 2015 Amnesty Program for Certain Delinquency <br />Charges <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: <br />On July 24, 2015 The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners passed an ordinance <br />that established an amnesty period for owners of Equivalent Residential Units (ERU's) which <br />are reserved for future use. The time period of the amnesty was from July 24, 2015 through <br />October 31, 2015. <br />Attached is a summary of activity related to the Amnesty Program for Delinquency Charges As <br />of October 31, 2015. <br />Staff notified eligible customers of the program,through telephone conversations, letters <br />and/or e-mail correspondence. Interested parties were asked to call Cindy Corrente at 772- <br />226-1832 or Beth Messersmith at 772-226-1837 if they had any questions. Only eight (8) <br />inquiries were received.
