Nixon., P.E., Roadway Production Manager <br />For December 15, 2015 BCC Meeting <br />FUNDING <br />Per the SCOP grant agreement, the County must fund the project and then request <br />reimbursement of the grant share from FDOT to a maximum amount of $1,438,747.00. Funding <br />for the County's cost share in the amount of $846,355.62 is budgeted in Account No. 10921441- <br />053360-14010 Secondary Roads/FDOT SCOP Grant, Old Dixie Highway Resurfacing (71St Street <br />to County Road 510) and the amount of $182,058.00 is budgeted in Account No. 47123536- <br />044699-15520 Utilities R & R Old Dixie Highway Relocation (71St Street to CR 510) for utility <br />relocation expenses. In summary, the SCOP Grant will fund $1,438,747.00, with the County <br />funding $1,028,413.62 for a total of $2,467,160.62. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the project be awarded to Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc., in the <br />amount of $2,467,160.62 and requests that the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />attached sample agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute said agreement after <br />receipt and approval of the required Public Construction Bond and certificate of insurance and <br />after the County Attorney has approved the agreement as to form and legal sufficiency. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
