<br />Indian River County Shooting Range Skeet and Trap Facility Improvements
<br />IRC Project No. 1213B, Bid No. 2016008

<br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS
<br />The proposed Skeet and Trap Facility Improvements at the Indian River County Shooting Range consist of
<br />constructing three (3) new combination national competition Skeet and Trap Fields, including Hi/Low Trap
<br />Houses, lighting for the skeet and trap ranges to promote night time usage of the range, storage building,
<br />parking area, and associated landscaping. Additionally, a 15 station Sporting Clays Course shall be
<br />constructed as part of the project.
<br />The bid opening for the project was held on December 2, 2015. Six (6) bids were received and opened. A
<br />detailed bid tabulation is on file and available for. viewing in the County Engineering Division. Bid totals are
<br />as follows:

<br />West Construction, Inc., is considered to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for the project with a
<br />bid totaling $1,294,027.81. The Purchasing Division has checked references for West Construction, Inc., and
<br />determined that they have performed similar construction projects consistently, and in a satisfactory
<br />manner.
<br />FUNDING
<br />Funding is available from the Park Impact Fee Account No. 10321072-066510-12001, $366,000.00 and from
<br />the Optional Sales Tax Account No. 31021072-066510-12001, $1,000,000.00.
