Nixon., P.E., Roadway Production Manager <br />For December 15, 2015 BCC Meeting <br />FUNDING <br />Funding in the amount of $2,178,500.55 is budgeted and available from Optional Sales Tax, <br />Account No. 31521441-066510-05014, 1st Street SW / 43rd Avenue Intersection Improvements <br />and $12,462.00 from Utilities WIP Account No. 47123536-044699-16504, 1st Street SW/43rd <br />Avenue Intersection. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the project be awarded to Blue Goose Construction, LLC in the amount <br />of $2,190,962.55 and requests that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached <br />sample agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute said agreement after receipt and <br />approval of the required Public Construction Bond and certificate of insurance and after the <br />County Attorney has approved the agreement as to form and legal sufficiency. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
