Baseline: In 2013/14, <br /> total achievement of 58% of participants gained social support. <br /> Goal Met-96%of Belly Beautiful Participants demonstrated an increase in their social support <br /> The Learning Alliance <br /> READY! for Kindergarten Program <br /> Program Year 2014-2015 <br /> Grant: $15,000.00 <br /> Funds used as of 9/30/15: $15,000 (CSAC grant) <br /> Total Children Served as 9/30/15: 148 (this is the total served when combining CSAC <br /> grant dollars with JICSL, IRCF grant dollars and a private donor.) <br /> Cost Per Child: The cost per child has been approximately $400. Combining all funds, <br /> $51,600 results in a per child cost of$348. This is actually a cost per family as chldcare <br /> and dinner are provided to each family in addition to the educational materials for the <br /> preschool child. , <br /> Focus Area Addressed: Parenting education for current and expectant parents to <br /> increase the likelihood of positive outcomes. <br /> Taxonomy Number: HD-1800.8000 School Readiness Programs <br /> Program Description: READY! for Kindergarten will teach parents how to best interact <br /> with their children to give them the reading, math, and social/emotional skills they will <br /> need to succeed in kindergarten. Each of five age ranges are the focus of a series of <br /> three classes each year; 0-1 year, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years.
