Director Keating realized this vague, but staff feels there needs to be a little discretion; basically they are saying this would be interpreted to be large holes. Commissioner Lyons felt there must be a better definition, and Attorney Vitunac stated he was comfortable with the phrase "free of holes." He felt a judge would use the rule of reason. Commissioner Bowman asked about a sign full of bullet holes, for instance. The Chairman stated the Attorney will clarify this language. Intergovernmental Relations Director Thomas noted that he' did not see anything in the ordinance re cemeteries. Planner Challacombe stated that he would like to clarify this on Page 16, b. Identification Signs for Non -Residential Districts, by adding under ii. - to commercial, industrial "and institutional" complexes - and refer that to the acreage table.
