Although the special exception <br />process allows the Board of County Commissioners to impose any <br />additional conditions to ensure compatibility of the proposed use <br />with surrounding property, the staff does not recommend the <br />imposition of any special conditions in this case. <br />RECOMMENDATION' <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />special exception approval. <br />Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. <br />Joan Piazza, 595 38th Avenue, owner of the property behind <br />the subject property, asked how close the stable would be to <br />their property line, and Mr. Nearing explained that the closest <br />it could be is 86 feet. <br />Mrs. Piazzi stated in that case they would have no <br />objection, and noted that at one time they also kept horses on <br />their property. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously closed <br />the'Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Mohn/Foster request for special exception approval <br />for a non-commercial stable. <br />RULES 6 REGULATIONS - FRONT & BACK YARDS <br />The Board reviewed the following letter dated 5/2/86: <br />16 <br />V <br />
