MAY 14 1996 B00K <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons SECONDED by <br />64 pna 432 <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously approved <br />a change order deleting construction of the subject <br />force main from the current SR -60 wastewater <br />improvements project, approved the attached developers <br />agreement between Indian River County and the Planned <br />Development Corporation, and authorized the Chairman's <br />signature, as recommended by staff. <br />Administrator Wright stressed how very difficult these <br />negotiations were and felt that Director Pinto deserves an "atta <br />boy". <br />Director Pinto reported that the developer wanted to make <br />sure that it is understood that these fees are less those he <br />already has paid. <br />DISCUSSION RE COUNTY'S OSLO ROAD WATER PLANT AFFECTING <br />NEIGHBORING WATER WELLS <br />Director Pinto explained that the nursery located next door <br />to the County's water treatment plant has experienced some <br />problems with one of their deep wells and feel it is due to our <br />draw down. He recommended that the County evaluate this <br />situation in depth at a cost not to exceed $5,000, which would <br />include monitoring the well next door as well as ours to see what <br />the actual drawdown is. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff recommendation to do an indepth evaluation at a <br />cost not to exceed $5,000 with the monies to come <br />out the of the Utility account. <br />32 <br />
