IBMIRD <br />It is requested that the following be given formal consideration <br />by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular meeting of <br />Wednesday, May 21, 1986. <br />DESCRIPTION & CONDITIONS <br />Orchid Isle Estates is a 68 lot subdivision located on Pine <br />Island, immediately south of the existing Orchid Island Subdivi- <br />sion. At their regular meeting of December 13, 1984, the Planning <br />& Zoning Commission granted preliminary plat approval subject to <br />the condition that at the time of final plat approval, the Board <br />of County Commissioners accept the applicant's $52,500 dedication <br />to the park improvement fund in lieu of dedicating five 15' wide <br />public water access easements. The preliminary plat approval is <br />due to expire on June 13, 1986 unless extended by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />Mr. Luciano Cortese, Vice President of Seacrest Estates, Inc., <br />owner, is now requesting an 18 month extension of the preliminary <br />plat approval and attached condition. <br />ALTERNATIVES & ANALYSIS <br />Extensions are allowed pursuant to section 7 (d)(10) of the <br />subdivision ordinance. The Board has historically granted one 18 <br />month extension of preliminary plat approval to applicants who <br />request such an extension. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant one <br />18 month extension of the preliminary plat approval and attached <br />condition granted to Orchid Isle Estates subdivision; said ap- <br />proval shall expire on December 13, 1987. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />granted one 18 month extension of the prelimi- <br />nary plat approval and attached condition granted <br />to Orchid Isle Estates Subdivision; said approval <br />to expire on December 13, 1987. <br />7 <br />i � , R I "F, <br />LIAM <br />,i <br />B,ffG,fk U4 m,c,164 <br />
