Health and safety conditions will improve with the provision <br /> of the CDBG funded public sewer lines. The new sewer lines in West Wabasso will allow <br /> substandard septic systems to be eliminated and improve the quality of life for that <br /> community by improving property values and providing access to safe and sanitary <br /> sewer service. A complimentary benefit will be the reconstruction of streets and paving <br /> to modern standards, further adding to quality of life in the community. The project <br /> includes new sewer lines, 16 manholes and laterals. A new lift station will also be <br /> provided south of County Road 510. Health and safety conditions will improve with the <br /> provision of sewer hookups, up to 45 hookups are possible. The Gifford Flood and <br /> Drainage Service area include improving swales and constructing new culverts in the <br /> East Gifford area. Re=qraded swales and new culvert pipes will convey stormwater <br /> flows to the existing retention pond located south of 42nd Street. <br /> DIRECTIONS: Write "A" in the Status Column when the proposal, by its scope and nature, does <br /> not affect the resources under consideration; or write `B" if the project triggers formal compliance <br /> consultation procedures with the oversight agency, or requires mitigation (see Statutory <br /> Worksheet Instructions). Compliance documentation must contain verifiable source documents <br /> and relevant base data. <br /> Compliance Factors: <br /> STATUTES, EXECUTIVE ORDERS AND COMPLIANCE DETERMINATION <br /> REGULATIONS LISTED AT 24 CFR§58.5 A/B AND DOCUMENTATION <br /> HISTORIC PRESERVATION A The proposed project is not anticipated to have <br /> 36 CFR PART 800 an effect on historic properties. SHPO and <br /> THPO have been contacted,comments have <br /> been requested. SHPO responded with a'no <br /> effect'determination, also historic registry has <br /> been reviewed. See registry, comment letters, <br /> NEPAssist locations map. <br /> FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT A The project does not involve property acquisition, <br /> 24 CFR §55 & EXECUTIVE ORDER 11988 management, construction or improvements of <br /> more than four(4) residential units within a SFHA <br /> or 100—year floodplain.
