He believed there is another applicant also, and <br />this request would use up our entire allocation of funds; <br />although, possibly there could be some surplus funds available. <br />Commissioner Wodtke realized that it always has been the respon- <br />sibility of the Finance Advisory Committee to review the <br />financial structure of applicants for industrial revenue bonds, <br />but he believed we need to work out a structure where these <br />applicants also make an appearance before the Economic <br />Development Council. <br />Chairman Scurlock believed our allocation is about 5.2 <br />million so there would be less than a million left. He had no <br />problem with a presentation being made to the Council, but wished <br />to make sure that by next Wednesday we can either deny or approve <br />the pending request as we are facing a deadline with the proposed <br />changes in the tax law. <br />Commissioner Lyons wished to know if the other applicant re- <br />ferred to will have something that is ready to go, and Commis- <br />sioner Wodtke believed they will and that they are in the area of <br />Rampmaster. <br />Commissioner Lyons pointed out that those applicants have <br />never come to us, and he did not know how they are going to meet <br />the time schedule. He suggested that possibly we should go ahead <br />and approve the request before us on the basis that their <br />presentation to the Economic Development Council does not raise <br />any objections. <br />Chairman Scurlock noted that, in fairness, the Florida <br />Convalescent Center people have gone through the required process <br />and paid the $1,000 fee, and Commissioner Lyons agreed that this <br />14 <br />
