Resolution 86-38 authorizing the Clerk to open an <br />account and transmit County funds to the State Board <br />of Administration's investment pool at the direction <br />of the Board. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86- 39 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CLERK OF THE <br />COURT TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THE STATE <br />BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION AND TO TRANSMIT <br />COUNTY FUNDS TO THE STATE BOARD OF <br />ADMINISTRATION'S INVESTMENT POOL. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County from time to time has funds on <br />hand in excess of current needs; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Indian <br />River County that funds be invested in such a manner as to yield the <br />highest return possible -consistent with proper safeguards for the <br />handling of government funds, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED BY TIIE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />I. Freda Wright, Clerk of the Court of Indian River County, <br />Florida, is hereby designated custodian of County funds and <br />authorized to transmit such funds to the State Board of <br />Administration, or invest such funds in such a manner consistent <br />with the best interests of the citizens of Indian River County and <br />pursuant to the directions of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Furthermore, the Clerk is authorized to withdraw funds from the <br />State Board of Administration or other investment account in the <br />name of Indian River County by giving timely notice together with <br />confirmation by letter executed by the Clerk and the Budget Officer <br />or other County employee designated by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />Z.
