r JUL 15 1986 <br />BOOK 65 P" E 30 1 <br />The Board recessed briefly before continuing with the <br />remainder of the agenda. <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened with the same <br />members present, Commissioner Lyons being absent, and Chairman <br />Scurlock noted that the staff recommendation on the various items <br />on the agenda are all outlined, and he suggested that the <br />procedure be that the Board just accept those recommendations <br />unless they have some objection, and anyone present who wishes to <br />speak regarding a particular item may do so. <br />Attorney George "Joe" Collins advised that he wished to <br />speak regarding Items #4 and #5. <br />Attorney Michael O'Haire wished to address Items #4, #5, #6 <br />and #17. <br />Roland Miller wished to be heard re Item V. <br />Eric Fischer indicated that he wished to speak on Items #7 <br />and #17. <br />Mary Jane Goetzfried, representing CCL Consultants, asked to <br />be heard on Item#16. <br />No one further wished to be heard, and the Chairman inquired <br />if any Commissioner wished to discuss any of the remaining items <br />or would just accept the staff recommendation on Items #8 - 9 - <br />10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 18 - 19 - 20 and 21. No discussion <br />was requested and no objection was expressed to staff's <br />recommendation for those items. <br />ITEM #4 _ County -initiated request to enlarge the OSLO Rd./74th <br />Ave.Corrmercial/Industrial Node from 230 to 450 acres. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone wished to be heard in regard to <br />this item, and Attorneys O'Haire and Collins both indicated that <br />they would go along with the staff recommendation to enlarge the <br />node to 450 acres. <br />29 <br />
