r-370 <br />and Chas. Kersey -be appointed a committee to view, mark and lay out said road and repo <br />to this Board. <br />G.R.Olmstea.d, Tax Collector, appeared before the Board regarding collection of <br />personal property tax assessed on the 1930 tax roll. <br />The Board ordered that no interference will be made by this Board in collection of <br />these taxes. <br />It Was ordered that no County convicts be worked on any public work in this <br />County. <br />R.G.Anderson` and others of Fort Pierce appeared respecting the employment of <br />County Agricultural Agent and County Home Demonstration Agent jointly With St. Lucie <br />County. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Hamilton, Seconded by Commissioner Yongue that 1/4 <br />I mill tax be levied in the Agricultural Fund, and the sum of $400.00 per year be <br />appropriated for County Home Demonstration Work. Upon being put to a' vote the same Was <br />carried. It Was further ordered that the General interest & Sinking fund millage for <br />1931 be reduced 1/4 of wMill. <br />It was ordered that the Clerk prepare advertisement for approximately 509000 feet <br />of lumber for Vero Bridge District. <br />Bond of A.O.Greynolds, Inc., a corporation in the sum of $22000.00 With 'United <br />States Fidelity & Guaranty Companyq a corporation of Baltimore was received and accept <br />Such bond being given in.connection woth Work of re -oiling roads in Special R & B Dist <br />It Was ordered that the following .tax sale certificates be sold for the amount <br />indicated upon the approval of the State Comptroller: <br />Cert. 873 sale of 1928 for the sum of 032.12 <br />Cert. 611 sale of 1926 for the sum of $95.54 <br />Cert. 1228 sale of 1927 for the sum of $21.49 <br />The several bills and accounts against the County having been audited, Were examine <br />and found correct, Were approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The <br />Bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The <br />warrants so issued, from the respective funds, being listed completely in the County <br />Finance Record as provided by law, reference to such Record and the list so recorded <br />being made a part of these minutes as fully and completely as if the said warrants Were <br />set out herein in detail. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly report showing receipts and -disbursements <br />of I the various funds, which having been checked were all found to be correct. <br />The Chairman announced that at this regular meeting the Board would consider and <br />act upon and adopt the estimates of the -expenses for the fiscal year commencing <br />October lst 1931 and ending September 30th 1932, which estimates were prepared and <br />entered upon the minutes of the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, held <br />on the 12th doer of August 19312 and to fix the rate of taxation for the year 1931. <br />A copy of the advertisement containing the estimates or budget made by the Board <br />County Commissioners at a meeting held at the.Court House on the 12th day of August, <br />1931, With the publisher's affidavit annexed as presented to the Board and ordered <br />spread upon the minutes and is in Words and figures as follows: <br />I <br />9 <br />
