r� <br />Wednesday, July 16, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />July 16, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick. B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. 'Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Acting County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend John Few, Christ Methodist by the Sea, gave the <br />invocation, and Chairman Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock wished to add two items - a Proclamation <br />re observing Physical Rehabilitation Day and an award to the <br />Employee of the Quarter. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to the agenda. <br />Chairman Scurlock later in the meeting requested the <br />addition of discussion re acquisition of the North County <br />wastewater plant site. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />added the above emergency item to the agenda. <br />JUL 16 1986 Booz 65 P�:,F. 48 <br />
