<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
<br />FOR ISSUANCE OF
<br />INDUSTRIA_ DEVELOPMENT BONDS
<br />Public Notice is hereby given that on July 16,
<br />1986, 10:00 a.m., the Board of County Commis-
<br />sioners of Indian River County, Florida, will meet
<br />at the Indian River County Administration Build -
<br />Ing, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, to
<br />consider approval of the issuance of not ex-
<br />ceeding $4,800,000 - of Industrial development
<br />revenue bonds of Indian River County to be
<br />issued for the purpose of loaning the proceeds
<br />therefrom, or using such proceeds, to finance
<br />the acquisition, construction and equipping of a
<br />skilled and intermediate care 91 bed nursing
<br />home facility, located in Indian River County,
<br />Florida, for Florida Convalescent Centers, Inc., a
<br />Florida corporation, which shall be the principal
<br />user of said facility. The Industrial development

<br />appiuve, except to the extent they are payable
<br />from bond proceeds. Such bonds and the Inter-
<br />est thereon shall not constitute an indebtedness
<br />or pledge of the general credit or taxing power
<br />of Indian River County or of the State of Florida.
<br />Issuance of the bonds of Indian River County
<br />shall be subject to several conditions, including
<br />satisfactory documentation, approval by counsel
<br />as to the tax-exempt status of the interest on the
<br />bonds and receipt of necessary approvals for
<br />construction of the facility to be financed. The
<br />aforementioned meeting shall be a public meet-
<br />ing and all persons who may be interested will
<br />be given an opportunity to be heard concerning
<br />the same.

<br />Lune 28, 1986
<br />LeeAnn Fiveash, representing Rhoads 6 Sinon, Bond Counsel,
<br />reviewed the proposed Resolution whereby the Commission approves
<br />the issuance of the bonds in compliance with the requirements of
<br />the Internal Revenue Code. Ms. Fiveash noted that this is
<br />actually a formality and affords the public an opportunity to
<br />give their input. The closing has to occur before August 26th
<br />because of some problems with the Certificate of Need.
<br />Mr. Evans, Vice President of Florida Convalescent Centers,
<br />Inc., wished to address two areas brought up by the Economic
