Exhibit A — Work Order No 2 Scope of Work I 12/19/2014 Page 4 of 4 <br />Phase 2 Deliverables (submitted electronically) <br />• Draft and final contract. <br />• Participation in meetings and conference calls, as needed. <br />COMPENSATION AND TIMELINE <br />Because the level of effort needed to complete this project may vary based on the number of meetings, <br />number of submittals received, requests for additional technical assistance, and other factors, KCI <br />proposes to conduct this work on a time -and -materials basis. We propose a budget of $50,950 for <br />Phase 1 that shall not be exceeded without prior authorization by the County. A budget breakdown by <br />task is provided in Exhibit B; however, KCI will invoice only for the actual time expended. The budget <br />allocation between tasks may shift as the project progresses depending on the actual level of effort <br />required. Services will be invoiced monthly and expenses (e.g., travel) will be billed at cost without <br />markup. <br />KCI will commence assigned work upon notice to proceed and will work with County staff to develop an <br />acceptable timeline for completion of all tasks. We estimate Phase 1 activities would be completed in <br />nine months.
