E. <br />30 December 2014 <br />Page 4 <br />For budgeting purposes, the scope of work has been divided into six (6) phases, as presented <br />below. <br />• Phase 1— General Consulting/Meeting Support/Project Management; <br />• Phase 2 — Class I Landfill Solid Waste Permit Renewal Application; <br />• Phase 3 — ERP Renewal Application; and <br />• Phase 4 — Landfill Operations Support Services. <br />Each of these phases is briefly described below. . . <br />Phase 1— General Consulting/Meeting Support/Project Management <br />Phase 1 consists of three components: general consulting, meetingsupport, and project <br />management. Geosyntec will provide SWDD with consultingservices necessary to initiate the <br />Project.. Geosyntec will prepare presentation graphics, engineering ,drawings, and other <br />documents required to support the Project's meetings: and coordination activities:. <br />.A kickoff meeting with SWDD and RSI, the'' Class I_ Landfill' operator, is proposed before the <br />start of project activities so that the specific project requirements can be discussed. If required <br />by SWDD, Geosyntec: will prepare for and attend a:rneeting with the SWDD Board to explain <br />the project scope: and. budget requirements: Geosyntec will also, schedule and attend, with {SWDD <br />staff, meetings with the Tallahassee'. and Southeast District offices of FDEP to discuss, specific <br />permitting- issues.In addition; review meetings. will be held with SWDD as necessaryduringthie. <br />various phases of the proj ect implementation schedule. Following each meeting, "Geosyntec will <br />prepare meeting,minutes that document decisions reached in meetings,; y <br />For, the purpose of thisbudget estimate, Geosyntec has included seven (7) meetings• (i) one (1) <br />• <br />kickoff meeting with SWDD (ii) two (2) in -progress design review -meetings with SWDD, (iii); <br />three (3) meetings with:FDEP'and SWDD staff; and (iv) one. (1) meeting with the ''SWDD <Board, <br />if requested by SWDD. The FDEP meetings will consist of: (i) two (2)i meetings with the <br />Tallahassee office on the solid waste renewal permit. application; (ii) one (1)'meeting ;with the. <br />Southeast District office in West' Palm Beach' on the ERP renewal application If possible, the <br />Tallahassee office meetings will be held via teleconference to reduce -overall costs to the project. <br />Project management activities will include: budget and schedule tracking, invoice review, and <br />project communications, including the preparation of a monthly progress report. The project <br />report will ` include a description of the activities completed during the ' month and 'planned <br />activities for the .following month.
