'JUL 23 1996 A_ <br />BOOK P" u� ,n <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of a discussion re <br />the recent shooting at Gifford Park last Sunday. <br />Administrator Thomas requested the addition of a discussion <br />re the recent burglary of the County Purchasing Dept. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of the employment <br />contract for an additional attorney in the the Public Defender's <br />Office. <br />4 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or <br />additions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 6/25/86. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 6/25/86, as <br />!, <br />written. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Commissioner Bird requested that Items B, F and G be removed <br />from the Consent Agenda for discussion. <br />A. Approval of Out -of -County Travel <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously approved <br />out -of -county travel for Commissioners and staff to <br />attend the Annual Meeting of the Florida Shore 8 Beach - <br />Preservation Association being held on Captiva Island,, <br />Florida, September 24-26, 1986. <br />2 <br />
