Thomas <br />Acting County Administrator Public Hearing to consider <br />SUBJECT: resolution providing for the <br />Ralph �$rescia, P.E. paving of: 1) 37th Avenue <br />County Engineer 2) 77th Court.. <br />xd`) 3) 7th Avenue <br />4) 1st Lane <br />FROM: Michelle A. Terry REFERENCES: <br />Civil Engineer <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Petitions have been received from property owners of the following <br />streets: <br />9 <br />37th Avenue between 10th -Street & <br />$35,338.72, 68% consent) <br />77th Court (Ave 2) 388' South of <br />$9,375.51, 71% consent) <br />7th Avenue between 11th Street & <br />$17,223.76, 73% consent) <br />12th Street (Preliminary Cost <br />Roseland Road (Preliminary Cost <br />12th Street (Preliminary Cost <br />1st Lane betwen 27th Avenue & 32nd Avenue (Preliminary Cost <br />$39,032.95, 67% consent) <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving and <br />drainage improvements. The total cost of these projects is <br />approximately $100,970.94. There is approximately $98,501.77 in the <br />FY85-86 budget for Petiton Paving, Account No. 703-214-541-035.39. As <br />money from other roads is replenished to the Petition Paving Account, <br />these roads will be paved. <br />Also, advertisement of the public hearing and notification to the <br />property owners has been performed. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the public <br />hearing,it is recommended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolutions, providing for the paving and drainage <br />improvements for each petition paving project, subject to the terms <br />outlined in the Resolutions. The applicable interest rate shall be <br />1% over the Prime Rate at the time the final'assessment roll is <br />approved. <br />2) Approve preliminary assessment rolls including any changes made as <br />a result of the public hearing. <br />3) Allocate $100,970.94 from the Petition Paving Account to fund this <br />work. <br />4) The Road and Bridge Department be notified to schedule construction <br />probably in September, 1986 or when funding is available. <br />64 <br />
