E. DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS VOTING EQUIPMENT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/16/86: <br />July 16, 1986 <br />ANN ROBINSON <br />SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS <br />1840 25TH STREET, SUITE N-109 <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA 32960-3394 <br />TELEPHONES: (305) 567-8187 or 567-8000 <br />Hon. Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Re: BCC agenda item for July 23, 1986 <br />Washington County has agreed to buy five of the used Shoup 2.5 <br />voting machines for $100 each. <br />I request that you authorize that the $500 be put into the <br />Elections account for Other Operating Supplies, 001-700-519-035.29, <br />for the purchase of additional parts for the voting equipment. <br />There are eight machines remaining, and Okaloosa County Supervisor <br />of Elections is interested in buying them if she can arrange for <br />transportation. <br />Thank you. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the deposit of $500 received from the sale of five (5) <br />used Shoup 2.5 voting machines into. Elections <br />Account 001-,700-519-035.29, as requested by the <br />Supervisor of Elections. <br />F.
