GAIDRY July 24, 1986 DISTRIBUTION LIST AREA CODE 305 <br />Commissioners <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Personnel <br />Board of County Commissioners Public Works <br />1840 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 Community Dev, <br />Utilities <br />RE: I-95 and CR 512 Node Finance <br />Otho, <br />Gentlemen: <br />Our office represents Edmund Ansin, owner of several parcels <br />of property located in the CR 512/I-95 Commerical/Industrial <br />Node. <br />In essence, we are in agreement with the 400 acre node con- <br />cept proposed by the County Planning Staff, and initially <br />recommended by the County Commissioner's during the July 16, <br />1986 public hearing. <br />However, we suggest that the node be increased by extending <br />the western boundary to avoid potential congestion resulting <br />from traffic trying to exit or enter I-95 after the south- <br />west and nortwest quadrants are developed. <br />We would suggest that the node be increasedto allow ingress <br />and egress at a point 500 feet west of the proposed nodal <br />boundary. <br />Thank you for your consideration in this matter. <br />Very ruly yours, <br />Ff" <br />George Tenn <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that he was not present at the last <br />hearing, but he would like to argue for the 1000 acres for two <br />reasons. First, he felt strongly that there should not be any <br />question that we want industry and that we want to have enough <br />space for it so that nobody can hold anybody up to get a piece of <br />property. Secondly, he believed that particular location is <br />tremendously important because it is the closest to a four year <br />degree school, and the kind of industry we are looking for is the <br />19 <br />�JL b <br />BOOK F.
