County -initiated request to amend the <br />Comprehensive Plan by redesignating <br />5 acres from LD -1, Low-density Residential 1 <br />to MXD, Mixed-use District <br />21. County -initiated request to enlarge the I-95 <br />and SR -60 Commercial/Industrial Node from <br />550 to 650 acres <br />Page 4 <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the above analysis, including the Planning and Zoning W <br />Commission's recommendation, staff recommends to the Board of y <br />County Commissioners that 81st Street between the Florida East�_n <br />Coast Railway and 58th Avenue, 61st Street between the Floridac-M <br />East Coast Railroad and the Lateral "G" canal, and 73rd Street <br />between Dixie Highway and 58th Avenue be deleted from the <br />County's Thoroughfare Plan, and that 77th Street be upgraded from o <br />a secondary to a primary collector. 00 <br />Based on the above analysis, including the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission's recommendation, staff recommends- approval. <br />redesignating approximately five acres located on the north side <br />of Oslo Road and approximately 600 feet west of 27th Avenue from <br />LD -1, Low -Density Residential 1 (up to 3 units/acre), to MXD, <br />Mixed -Use District, and to increase the- permitted residential <br />densities in the west part of the Oslo Road MXD area from three <br />units per acre to six units per acre. <br />Based on the above analysis, including the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation, staff recommends <br />commercial/ industrial node at I-95 and State Road 60 <br />from 550 acres to 650 acres. <br />and Zoning <br />that the <br />be enlarged <br />Nj; <br />
