AUG 6 197 <br />BOOK 65 <br />SECTION 3. <br />SEVERABILITY <br />If any. Section, or if any sentence, paragraph, <br />phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to <br />be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding <br />shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance; <br />and it shall be construed to have been the legislative <br />intent to pass the ordinance without such unconstitutional, <br />invalid or inoperative part. <br />SECTION 4. <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This ordinance shall become effective upon receipt <br />from the Secretary of State of the State of Florida of <br />official acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed <br />with the Department of State. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 6th <br />day of _ August <br />1986. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA <br />BY _1i� <br />ORtL C i <br />Chairman <br />DISCUSSION DOUGLAS SCHOOL <br />Ervin Cartwright, Vice President of the West Wabasso Civic <br />Club, came before the Board in regard to their request for <br />permission to remodel the Douglas School Cafeteria for public <br />assembly. He noted that this is not the first time this has been <br />before the Board, and since the E.O.C. doesn't have enough funds <br />to start doing anything, the Civic Club would like to be able to <br />do something rather than have the cafeteria deteriorate any more. <br />He noted that this facility could be used by the entire North <br />County and also help out the firemen and give them a place for <br />their meetings. <br />60 <br />
