C <br />REFERENCES• Bill DeBraal, Urban <br />Public Works Director orester, to Jim Davis dated <br />July 15, 1986 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Urban Forester has suggested that the Indian River Boulevard South <br />Extension project include irrigation and landscaping in the proposed grass - <br />median. Landscaping does exist north of the existing south terminus and <br />along 17th Street. The initial cost involves providing PVC sleaves beneath <br />the road to serve the median irrigation. - <br />RECCR41MATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that PVC sleaves be installed beneath the southbound <br />lanes of the Boulevard at a cost of approximately $300 and that the Urban <br />Forester be authorized to design the landscaping. Funding to be from Fund <br />304. <br />6 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the installation of PVC sleeves beneath the south- <br />bound lanes of Indian River Boulevard south extension <br />at a cost of approximately $300 and authorized the <br />Urban Forester to design the landscaping; funding to <br />be from Fund 304. <br />E.
