Don C. Scurlock, Jr. <br />Chairman, Board of County Commissioners <br />RE: Agenda item for BCC meeting of August 13, 1986 <br />FROM: Ann Robinson, Supervisor of Elections <br />1. The Old Fellsmere School Restoration Association, Inc. <br />has requested one of the old voting machines for the <br />museum that will be in the school eventually. We saved <br />one for them, but the BCC needs to approve the request; <br />the serial number of the machine is 40802. You already <br />approved saving 40801 for the IRC Historical Society. <br />2. Except for the two voting; machines mentioned above, all <br />of the 144 used Shoup 2.5 voting machines are gone. The <br />last 8 were purchased by Okaloosa County for $50 each, <br />and I request that you authorize putting the $400 into <br />the Elections account 001-700-519-035.29 for the purchase <br />of extra parts for the new voting booths. <br />Thank you. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the gift of 11) Shoup 2.5 voting machine (serial <br />#40802) to the Old Fellsmere School Restoration <br />Association, Inc., and authorized the placement of the <br />$400 received from the sale of (8) Shoup 2.5 to <br />Okaloosa County into Elections Account <br />#001-700-519-035.29 for the purchase of extra parts for <br />the new voting booths, as recommended by the Supervisor <br />of Elections. <br />AUG 13 1986 19 BOOK 65 r ..cE SI <br />L— <br />
