Contract for Professional Engineering Services - <br />Miscellaneous Intersection Improvements - Lloyd and Associates, <br />Inc. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/5/86: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the August 5, 1986 <br />Board of County Caminissioners DATE: FILE: <br />THROUGH: <br />Tommy Thomas, <br />Acting County Administrator <br />FROM :James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />a <br />SUBJECT: Contract for Professional <br />Engineering Services - <br />Miscellaneous Intersection <br />Improvements - Lloyd and <br />Assoc., Inc. <br />REFERENCES: Darrell E. McQueen to Jim <br />Davis, dated Aug. 5, 1986 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />As authorized by the Board of County Commissioners, staff has prepared the <br />attached agreement for the engineering design of the following projects: <br />1) US 1 at Oslo Road intersection <br />2) 4th Street at Old Dixie Highway intersection <br />3) 27th Avenue at 8th Street intersection <br />4) 27th Avenue at 4th Street intersection <br />5) 43rd Avenue at 16th Street intersection <br />6) Control for four School Beacon projects <br />The cc-pensation for design is $36,160. <br />It is recommended that the Board approve the attached agreement. Funding <br />to be from Fund 109 with revenue from Gas Tax and Fact Fees as to be <br />determined by staff recommendation. <br />P <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis assured Commissioner Wodtke <br />that the fee structure for these services is a fair one, and <br />Commissioner Bird emphasized that he relies very heavily on staff <br />in negotiating these engineering contracts. <br />20 <br />
