Fr -- <br />.AUG c� �',°9� <br />60! `�A �1��'k� <br />BOOK <br />f:Ut <br />65 ,�� 469 <br />However, that <br />is different from operating expense, for <br />which <br />we <br />also need the numbers as the two go hand in hand. <br />Director Hylton stressed there is an operating expense <br />because the dispatch cannot operate unless the system is up 24 <br />hours, and we presently run on an 8 hour basis. <br />It was agreed these figures will be looked at, and OMB <br />Director Baird again emphasized the importance in capital <br />projects of knowing the annual operating costs. <br />Sheriff Dobeck concurred that the Clerk and her staff have <br />worked very closely with the Sheriff's Department and her figures <br />will be included in the costs. <br />Commissioner Lyons brought up CAD (Computer Assisted <br />Dispatch) and advised that a CAD consortium has been put <br />together to come up with equipment and programs based on the <br />experience of law enforcement and emergency organizations.
