impact fee for that particular district, and the Planning <br />Department has a computer program that can easily do that. <br />Another option would be to use the number of acres on the golf <br />course, but that gets into a very gray area. <br />Commissioner Lyons stressed that we are interested in what <br />is going over the road, and Director Davis explained that if we <br />use parking spaces., the traffic generation manual points out the <br />number of trips generated by each parking space and gives a range <br />from 1.8 trips per parking space to 5.3 with respect to golf <br />courses. Staff feels this course would be in the 1.8 category <br />due to the small clubhouse, and they figure the parking spaces -__- <br />would be used about twice a day. <br />Acting Administrator Tommy Thomas asked for an estimation of <br />the traffic fees based on 1.8 trips per parking space, and <br />Director Davis felt the fees would be approximately $140 per <br />parking space and that multiplied by -82 parking spaces would <br />amount to $11,000-$12,000. <br />Planning 8 Development Director Robert Keating noted that - <br />staff would have to run it through the computer model to get the <br />final figure. <br />The Commissioners indicated that they could live with these <br />estimated impacted charges, and Administrator Thomas emphasized <br />that since these costs were not included in the cost of the golf <br />course, they will have to come back to the Board for final <br />approval. <br />Director Keating advised that staff would have the final <br />costs at the next meeting. <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT TO PURCHASE SAVIN MODEL V-35 COPIER <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/2/86: <br />45 BOOK 65 583 <br />S E P 2 190 <br />
