CONSENT <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ^ <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Joseph Baird <br /> County Administrator <br /> FROM: Colleen Peterson 9 <br /> Human Resources Manager <br /> DATE: March 15, 2016 <br /> SUBJECT: Revised Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, AM-201.1 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The County's current Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, AM-201.1, dates back to 1989. <br /> During a recent grant application review process, the County was advised that the policy should <br /> be updated. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the newly revised <br /> Equal Employment Opportunity policy which will replace the 1989 version currently in the <br /> County's Administrative Manual.
