Application for State Aid for Libraries <br />BOOK 65 F', U 802 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (3-0) <br />approved the annual application for State Aid <br />for Libraries and authorized the signature of <br />the Chairman. <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF STATE <br />DIVISION OF LIBRARY SERVICES <br />APPLICATION FOR FY 1987 <br />STATE AID TO LIBRA RIES <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br />hereby applies to the Division of Library and Information Services of the Florida <br />Department of State for an operating grant for public library service as authorized under <br />Chapter 257, Florida Statutes, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1986 and ending <br />September 30, 1987. <br />We certify that the following amounts were centrally expended for the operation of <br />public library service during the fiscal year ending September 30, 1985. <br />Total Expenditures, <br />October 1, 1984 -September 30, 1985 $ 324,659. <br />Less, State Aid RECEIVED ($ 19,261. ) <br />Less, LSCA Program Grants RECEIVED ($ ) <br />Less, Other State and Federal Program Grants RECEIVED($ 12,452. ) <br />Less, Any Funds not Expended CENTRALLY ($ ) <br />Total Local Expenditures Qualified for Matching <br />$ 292,946. <br />We certify that the following amounts, exclusive of federal and state grants, will <br />be available and expended centrally for public library use during fiscal year 1986-1987. <br />County Appropriations <br />(County funds from local sources only) <br />2 <br />$ 375,000. <br />
