Description and Conditions <br />Bids were received Thursday, August 28, 1986 at 11:00 A:M. <br />for IRC #299 -Hardware -Traffic Signs for the Traffic Engineering <br />Department. <br />9 Bids were sent out. Of the 5 Bids received, 1 was a "No Bid". <br />2.Alternatives and Analysis <br />The low bidders are as follows: <br />Universal Signs - Item #1 <br />Dave Smith & Co.- Item#7 and 8 <br />Municipal Supply - Items 2, 3, 4 5 and 9 <br />3. Recommendation and Funding <br />It is recommended that IRC #299 be awarded to the low bidders as <br />noted & that Items 6 and 10 be rejected. <br />Funds are budgeted for FY86/87 in Account #111-245-541=035.36. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) awarded <br />Bid #299 (Hardware -Traffic Signs) to the low bidders, <br />Universal Signs, Dave Smith & Co., and Municipal <br />Supply, for the items as listed above and as recom- <br />mended by staff and rejected Items #6 and #10, all <br />per the following bid tabulation: <br />13 <br />SEP 3 0 1986 BOOK 65 r,�„ 848 <br />
