A <br />S E P 30 1986 <br />BOOP( 6 5f't�Ijr ? <br />Chairman Scurlock inquired if Mrs. Abernethy believed these <br />rates will cover the situation so that we are not setting an <br />artificial rate structure, and Mrs. Abernethy confirmed that she <br />believed the rates are adequate. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />Carlos Milanes, Associate Director of Humana Hospital, <br />informed the Board that the intent of the Hospital is not to open <br />up a utility department; they are basically supplying the offices <br />of the physicians on their property, and these rates simply cover <br />their operating expenses. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 86-86 setting the rate structure for the <br />Humana Hospital Water System Franchise. <br />92 <br />
