ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />authorized the purchase of Parcel #168 from <br />Michael & Marjorie Cooper for $4,387, and Parcel #132 <br />from Larry 6 Josephine Kline for $1,169, as appraised, <br />plus the installdtion of two driveway curb cuts, <br />shell/marl parking on each side of building, and the <br />connection of the building to the County waterline, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />REQUEST BY VISTA PROPERTIES FOR COUNTY TO RELEASE INTEREST IN THE <br />PROPERTY NORTH OF THE SOUTH RELIEF CANAL <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/7/86: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: October 7, 1986 FILE: <br />Board of County Ccannissioners <br />THROUGH: <br />Charles P. Davis, P.E., 81 <br />Public Works Director Bruce Barkett to James <br />navi c and Tam= Pi ntn rl;; -Pri <br />Oct. 1, 1986 <br />Vista Properties desires to clean up title to their property located east <br />of US 1 and North of the South Relief Canal. An existing dirt road <br />traverses the property which the County Utilities Dept. uses to access the <br />water and sewer facilities. A license is attached to allow the County to <br />continue to use this road. The County has a 15' easement along the south <br />property line which will remain. The -Vista Gardens Easement will also <br />remain. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Staff has review this request and has no objection. _ <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />It is recommended that the Chairman be authorized to execute the attached <br />release contingent upon Vista Properties executing the License. <br />79 BOOK F1�F79 <br />- OCT 14 1986 <br />
