They establish minimurn actions to be takbn <br />by Division field personnel when fire law violations occijrr. <br />8) Special report to Legislature on the Division's equipment and per^st-Dnnel <br />needs. <br />9) Deve1ooment of local ordinances, plans, and regulations (see <br />memoraridurn dated September 4, 1986, with attachments). <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved out -of -county travel for Commissioners and <br />appropriate staff to attend Forestry Division Meeting <br />in Okeechobee on October 30, 1986. <br />APPROVAL OF OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL TO TALLAHASSEE RE LIBRARY GRANT <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />out -of -county travel for Commissioners and appropriate <br />staff to travel to Tallahassee in connection with a <br />library grant. <br />REPORT ON NORTH COUNTY WASTEWATER <br />Chairman Scurlock reported that they had met in Sebastian <br />again and basically proved the financial feasibility of <br />wastewater service to 2175 acres of land running from the <br />Roseland Shopping Center all the way down to Pelican Pointe, and <br />owners in that area have indicated a desire to participate, which <br />would make a total of 4988 ERUs. After the cut-off date, another <br />500 units indicated they wished to participate also. They <br />anticipate additional phases to come along when they are <br />economically feasible. This wastewater project will eliminate 16 <br />package systems in the north county. <br />Chairman Scurlock advised that they need authorization to go <br />ahead and prepare the assessments against the properties who wish <br />82 <br />
