He noted that Attorney Vitunac is in the process of <br />working out an inter -local agreement that would provide for our <br />ability to assess within the corporate limits. <br />Director Pinto advised that they will prepare an assessment. <br />roll and assess the wastewater impact fee and then come back with <br />a final proposal of what we are going to build and how. Right <br />now, they need authorization to begin the assessment procedure, <br />which means the authorization to set up for the Public Hearings. - <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, that the Board authorize staff <br />to begin the assessment procedure for the north <br />county wastewater system. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Bird asked if the <br />participants still had the opportunity to back out of this, and <br />Director Pinto advised they have that option up until the time of <br />the Public Hearing on the adoption of the assessment. <br />Fred Mensing, a resident of Roseland, stated he was glad to <br />hear this project is on its way, as the north county area really <br />needs it. <br />83 BOOK 66 PV <br />OCT 14 196 <br />
