It is noted that funds for the maintenance and repair of the emergency communications systems enhancements is the respon- sibility of Indian River County. The recurring charges for the phone line for the facsimile will also have to be paid for by the County. The recurring charges for the phone line is estimated to be $25.00 per month. Maintenance and repair on the facsimile should be negative on the new equipment for the first year per the warranty. Additional funds will be budgeted in FY 87-88 if this agreement is approved. The title to the equipment transfers immediately to the County upon installation and testing. Staff recommends approval of this agreement as it will provide _ immediately print quality copy between the County EOC and State EOC during natural and/or manmade disasters.
