It is noted that funds for the maintenance and repair of the <br />emergency communications systems enhancements is the respon- <br />sibility of Indian River County. The recurring charges for <br />the phone line for the facsimile will also have to be paid <br />for by the County. The recurring charges for the phone line <br />is estimated to be $25.00 per month. Maintenance and repair <br />on the facsimile should be negative on the new equipment for <br />the first year per the warranty. Additional funds will be <br />budgeted in FY 87-88 if this agreement is approved. <br />The title to the equipment transfers immediately to the County <br />upon installation and testing. <br />Staff recommends approval of this agreement as it will provide <br />_ immediately print quality copy between the County EOC and <br />State EOC during natural and/or manmade disasters. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved the State Emergency Communications <br />Program Agreement and authorized the Chairman's <br />signature. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />H.
