330 <br />As provided by law, the financial report of the County, as prepared by the Clerk <br />of this Board for the period January lst 1931 to September 30th 1931, was signed tap by <br />this Board and ordered forwarded to the State Comptroller. y W. <br />It was moved, seconded and carried that all insurance on the jail be discontinued. <br />Those favoring such motion being ComIrs. Yongue; Hamilton and Walker. Those opposed <br />being Com'rs. LaB ruee and Helseth. <br />It was ordered that collission insurance only be retained on Chevrolet truck <br />recently purchased by this Board. <br />It was ordered that Tax Certificate 644-A sale for unpaid 1927 taxes be sold for <br />the sum of $37.18 upon approval of the .State Comptroller. Also the remainder of Tax <br />Certificate No. 598 sale of 1927 be recommended for purchase for the sum of 032.27 <br />The following Road petition was received and read: <br />ROAD PETITION. <br />STATE OF FLORIDA, ) <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. ) <br />To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners: <br />Gentlemen: - <br />We, the undersigned citizens of the County of Indian River, State of Florida, <br />respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County Road to be <br />laid out as follows, to -wit: Commencing .at the South 25 -fft of the South 10 acres of <br />the S.E.1/4 of the N.E.1/4 and the North 25 flet of the North 10 acres of the N.T.1/4 of <br />the S.E.1/4 of Section 12 Township 33 Range 39 E. Said road right -of -fir to be not less <br />than 50 feet in width. <br />We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a <br />County Road as above described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road <br />is sought <br />to <br />be laid out, in <br />consideration of <br />the <br />sum of $1.00 to us each and seve l ally i <br />hand paid <br />by <br />the said County <br />of Indian River, <br />the <br />receipt if.
