I CT 2 8 86 BOOK 6�J Pt1Ur. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if the Motion includes getting the <br />various groups involved with this activity in the county to work <br />on determing the needs, and Administrator Balczun preferred that <br />staff address this first and then get the views of the <br />constituency. <br />Commissioner Wodtke preferred we do some in-depth study. He <br />noted that we have a Welfare Director and knew that the School <br />Board has concerns also. He mentioned various agencies we could <br />include in a needs assessment, such as foster homes, group homes, <br />child abuse prevention centers, etc., but felt this would take a <br />lot of coordination. <br />Commissioner Lyons stated that his Motion was simply to <br />refer the matter hack to the County Administrator, have staff <br />bring back a recommendation, and address the details at that <br />time. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLEU FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to clarity where we are going from <br />here in addition to staff studying this and noted that he sees <br />Jill Hardin of the Governor's Constituency in the audience and <br />wondered if that would be the proper agency to bring the various <br />-agencies involved together and keep this moving along. <br />Ms. Hardin indicated she would be glad to help coordinate <br />this activity. <br />AMENDING SUBDIVISION S PLATTING ORDINANCE <br />The hour of 9:15 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the tollowing Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to -wit: <br />_ 26 <br />
