ordinance, and he respectfully requested that the Board approve <br />the.proposed ordinance. <br />Commissioner Wodtke noted that no additional density is <br />allowed.and wanted to know if less units can be put on the <br />property. <br />Attorney Stewart advised that the project now has about 40 <br />units less than their originally approved site plan. <br />Joe Dorskey, Town Manager of Indian River Shores, read aloud <br />the following Resolution adopted by the Town Council: <br />RESOLUTION 415 <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council of Indian River Shores is concerned <br />for any changes to zoning and building restrictions in the area <br />along 41A to Route 510 and°the mainland, and <br />WHEREAS, this is the emergency evacuation route for the Town. <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the overall environmental effect of increasing <br />building heights along the barrier island shoreline is negative <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE TOWN COUNCIL OF INDIAN <br />RIVER SHORES URGES THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMMISSION TO SUPPORT <br />ITS PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD IN ITS DECISION TO DISAPPROVE OF <br />COASTAL HOTEL HEIGHT EXCEPTIONS FOR HOTELS, MOTELS, ETC.
