ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />BOOK 66 P,4,U 58 -7 <br />Chairman Scurlock requested two items be added to the <br />Consent Agenda - (1) authorization for out -of -county travel for <br />Commissioners Eggert and Wheeler to attend a Local Government <br />Financing Seminar in Orlando, and (2) through OMB Director Baird, <br />Bid #320 - Air Conditioning Replacement of units at the <br />Courthouse Annex. <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that he would like to delete Item <br />9D. (Expansion of Franchise Territory & Change of Ownership - <br />Riverwalk Utilities) due to improper advertising and reschedule <br />same for December 9th. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added and <br />deleted items as described above. <br />PRESENTATION OF FEDERAL PROCLAMATION RE VETERANS DAY <br />Commissioner Bird informed the Board that on Veterans Day he <br />had the honor of giving the welcoming address at the Veterans <br />ceremonies, and the Veterans presented to him a Proclamation <br />signed by President Reagan to pass on to the Commission. He <br />believed there are only two of these in the State of Florida, and <br />the other is in Tallahassee. He thanked the Veterans for their <br />efforts in acquiring this Proclamation, and on their behalf, read <br />the Proclamation aloud and presented it to the Commission: <br />6 <br />2 <br />
